Obama's National Anthem

Glenn unveiled the savior's brand new theme song---it's a remake of something very near and dear to the Senator from Illinois heart: the Soviet National Anthem. The way people bow down at the altar of Obama it's only fitting that his brand new anthem is so catchy that it's guaranteed to be stuck in your head all day long. This is just step 1---next up is the giant Obama building sized posters.

'I'll take STD's for 400'

All week Glenn has been talking about Life on Campus on TV and on radio---a series devoted to educating people on what their kids are in for when they head off for college. Yesterday you heard from a student on what it's like being a religious student at Princeton University---today we take a look into the hook up culture---not only how prevalent it is, but also how to fight it.

Life on Campus

Being religious and conservative at an Ivy League school these days is about as common as an intelligent thought by Paris Hilton, so it can be rough for them on extremely liberal college campuses. All week on the TV show Glenn is focusing on what life is like today for kids on campus---and with all the promiscuity, drinking and partying it can be quite shocking. Glenn talked about life on campus for an hour today,

Olympic sex appeal

Glenn wonders if anyone else has noticed the Maxim Magazine esque clothing (or lack of clothing) the women have been wearing at the Beijing Olympics. The women's beach volleyball team may as well be naked while the men are almost wearing slacks. Is this a scheme by NBC and the athletes to boost ratings? Or is it just a tip of the hat to the original Olympic athletes, who played the game naked?

Nancy Pelosi solves energy crisis

Glenn talks to an official Obama advisor who says that Nancy Pelosi is directly responsible for the recent drop in gas prices. The advisor, Honkey Whitesville, argues that Pelosi put her own interests behind her in an amazingly selfless manner in order for the good of Americans everywhere.

Obama 'I'll win, don't worry about that'

Has any presidential candidate ever sounded so cocky about a victory in the past? Obama said at a fundraising event to the donors 'don't worry, I'll win'. At first glance, that seems cocky---but he was clearly just trying to calm possible jitters in the audience. All 1300 grassroots, regular, everyday Americans who happen to be Obama supporters and shelled out a mere $6000 each to be there, obviously wanted assurance their investment would pay off

Eater X

Glenn gets producer Dan some much needed help to reach the food goal of eating the same amount Olympic superstar swimmer Michael Phelps eats in one day (10-12,000 calories). He started this a.m. at 6300 calories, after a disappointing dinner performance. Dan had to reach 10,000 calories by show's end. Tim Janus, aka Eater X on the food competition circuit, who finished 3rd in the Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest, gave Dan some advice and here is what he had to say about Phelps' diet and about Dan's chances of reaching the goal.

Georgia / Russia

The situation between Georgia and Russia is not getting better and most Americans don't understand the truth behind Georgia's pro United States democracy. Imagine a mini-United States located inside the former Soviet Union. Vladimir Putin loves probably loves that thought.

"This is for America"

Last night on TV Glenn interviewed Georgia President Mikheil SaakasHhvili and it was quite gripping to see a world leader do a TV interview outside. He's clearly a target of the Russian's and so are America's ideals, according to him.

Compean & Ramos part Deux

Another incident strikingly similar to the Compean & Ramos case has come up where a border agent shot Edgar Israel Ortega in his left buttocks and, you will be so relieved to hear, he is in stable condition. The shooter was a ten year border patrol veteran but his name was not released. Border patrol said the agent feared getting struck by a rock but the shooting drew swift criticism from Mexican authorities. Glenn tries to determine how many years in the slammer this border agent will get---given what they did to Compean and Ramos.
